All of this Lebron talk has me wondering

To the casual observer they appear correct. They see that he fumbled the super bowl away and then acted less than ideal afterwards. Not everyone in the country is wanting to like him like we are as fans and giving him the benefits of the doubts. We would view him that way if he played for another team....certainly if he played for a rival or hated team.

There are certain guys who you'll love if they're on your team and you'll hate them if they aren't. The one thing they usually have in common? They're really fuging good.

The difference between Cam and Lebron is Cam has such supreme confidence in his ability that he feels he should be able to accomplish anything regardless of those around him.

Lebron is your typical whiney millennial that wants to hang out with his pals and maybe win a championship or two in the process.

I myself have a tendency to dislike those that are great that others brag on to death while not giving others the same evaluation..Bragging on just that one and giving him a pass when he may play itty. Not truly looking at the advantages he may have to make him great..a person that has to fight his way to be great will hold more value to me because he takes more from them. Not saying its their fault for having help but I can only value what I see. I see 2 great players but i lean toward the struggle guy.

Hard to compare, basketball is different, way different then football, what lebron said was very accurate, they need another playmaker, if you look at what golden state has compared to what Cleveland has there's no way Cleveland repeats as champions unless another unreal performance by lebron occurs, it took lebron making nba history for them to win last year, highly unlikely it happens again.

Football there's just too many moving parts, we could get another playmaker and the o line could ruin it all or the defense could suck, ect

Not sure if you've read twitter about Lebron's comments, but he's being called everything except a child of God. They're calling him a cry baby, not an elite player, etc. Basically, he's getting the Cam treatment. I don't think Cam will come out and say that. I'm not even sure he would imply it. I think he'll shoulder the blame before he starts finger pointing. Cam needs more than one or two okay players around him, and that's a fact. I do like Lebron and I do think his spazz out on Barkley was right on time but he pretty much has the same championship team. I think Cleveland (from what little I've watched) has built around him. This is the same team that won a championship and he even lobbied for one or two of them to get the pay they deserved. But Chuck is annoying as hell. Glad someone finally went off.

"They" being the media or fans?

I actually think it would be the reverse of Lebron in ways: James' talent was undeniable but people questioned his motive leaving.  You won't get many people siding with the Panthers if Cam severs ties, but the debate would be whether he's good enough to make such demands. There isn't a football loving soul, including the bottom dwelling "Scam" shouting haters, who would say this organization has given him enough already offensively.

Ive grown to like Lebron over the years, and the only reason I didn't like him was because I was a KD guy. I've soured on KD since his move to GS. Lebron takes a lot of crap, and usually doesn't say anything about the crap he takes. Chuck has been coming at him for awhile now. I'm glad he finally said something. I think Bron got a bit too personal, but meh, it happens.

If Cam stated he needed a playmaker like Bron, he'd be crucified in the media. Hell, he's already crucified now, so I guess it would be no different. I doubt Cam would do that, though, as Bron indirectly threw some of his teammates under the bus with his comments. Cam would not do that and anything he had to say would be done in private.

Lebron is one of my top 5 favorite athletes, him and cam take ridiculous criticism but for there careers have been stand up guys, it's sickening. I agree 1000% with what lebron said, you accuse a man of not wanting to compete and being whiny, but when he was carrying the cavs on his back single handily, people bash him for losing in the finals with scrubs and role players, and when he set records in BACK TO BACK finals by leading both teams in all major categories, you publicly accuse him of not wanting to compete, it's asinine and very poor journalism that gets praised by the typical lebron haters. Cam gets the same treatment also

There's no way in absolute hell a player can almost get named MVP for a losing team and you can convince me that he doesn't want to compete

Charles Barkley is a stuttering idiot that can't even complete a sentence. I'm glad LeBron FINALLY called him out since he has been taking crap from Barkley for years. Barkley questioned his competitiveness, called him whiny, and said he was a punk for going to Miami and people are actually saying that's NOT personal?  It's hilarious watching fools take Barkley's side on this.

"Fans" from what I've seen but I'm sure the media will piggyback off it. Charles said as much. But it's been this way for him.

I figured. Lebron is polarizing for sure, more so with the fans. I don't see the media going after him too much, at least not relatively to some athletes.

That's the point I'm trying to make, big fella. 5 guys on the court with a "Big 3" and complaining about not getting the job done VS 11 men on the field and shouldering the blame of the teams shortcomings. LJ has been given everything he's asked for to succeed and has multiple championships. Go handle your business and take responsibility if you can't get it done.

If he was still taking criticism losing with the Cavs before all these moves to get playmakers involved in Miami and Cleveland the second go around then I'd 100% agree with you. Unjustified bashing by the media. But when you already have a solid crew and can't get it done and say it's because you "need some help," some people are going to raise eyebrows.
