Broncos to go after Ted Ginn

If we let Ginn go, and go into the season with KB and Funchess as our only WRs with experience, we're going to be in a world of hurt.   He is the only one stretching the field for these slow guys.  We could draft (and we should) a WR but he probably won't be ready to pick up that spot.   We need Ginn here, at least for a couple years.

That is fine.  If they want to overpay for a over-the-hill receiver who's a coin flip to catch the deep ball.  There are a TON of mid to late round WRs that could instantly step in and replace Ginn.   Wide outs like Artavius Scott (Clemson), KD Cannon (Baylor) Stacey Coley (Miami) Isiah Ford (VT) Zay Jones (ECU) Tawan Taylor (WKU) Chris Godwin (Penn State) Chad Hansen (Cal).

Draft is deep with better catching Ginns.

Would hate to see him leave but wouldn't overpay.  Maybe a 2 year $2 mill deal.  Broncos will probably overpay.

Lol. Some people never learn. You would figure after last year's nightmare in the secondary we would be done replacing good vets with draft picks who have done nothing and may need a year or two to develop. I just hope at least Gettleman has learned his lesson.

Will the Broncos over pay for him?

Ginn has to know that this is where he's become a legit WR.  I'd stick around if I were him as long as I could.  Denver isn't going to play to his strengths.

I don't think he'll go simply because this is where he's had actual success compared to the rest of his career.

Is that praise for Ginn or an indictment on kb and funch? If Ginn is our most productive guy next year it is a huge problem.

having a guy who has the potential to be a double digit td receiver and 1000 yard receiver is a problem? By no means is Ginn a Steve Smith, but he has put up those numbers so there is no reason he couldn't do it again. P.S. we were 15-1 when he did that. So ya, I wouldn't mind if he is our most productive wide out
