I'd love to see Byrd succeed but let's be real. He has one catch and wasnt productive in college. What are some of you looking at?

exactly , this fan base always hypes up undrafted players its crazy , byrd will be out of the league in a couple years

I'm sorry, but are we just going to ignore that Ginn outplayed Benjamin and all other WR's last season, and just came off a double digit td and near 1000 yard season just a year ago? Yeah, he sucks at punts, but he has made some clutch plays for us.

Ginn made the flashy plays, but Benjamin still was double digits away from his second 1000 yard season.

Nevertheless, losing Ginn will hurt this team. We need to retain him if at all possible.

I don't know how I feel about this. On one hand Ginn is prone to the dropsies at times but man that speed and the spectacular plays he does make. However I would bet that his time as a cardinal taught him how good he has it here. I know his days are numbered but I hope he stays.

If the Broncos want to overpay for Ginn like the Cardinals did one year so be it. Maybe Ginn can get another pay day but he'll be lost in the Broncos sea of receivers and the below average QBs they have slinging the rock.

Carolina is the sweet spot for Ted and I'll bet he's learned that lesson and at this point in his career can see Carolina's future is far brighter than Denver's.

Sign a friendly contract where you belong Ted.

I think Ginn will stay. I also think those of you downplaying his value to this team don't have a clue about how important vets are to our team and locker room.  He is our most senior wide receiver and a pro.  Look what losing Harper, Tillman and Norman did to the secondary last year.  This isn't Madden. Sometime vets play a critical role off and on the field.

They'll say that until it actually happens and we don't get DeSean Jackson and then we have another hole with more rookies AND we don't use Byrd....it's whatever they're going to complain about him and then they're not going to complain about him. Ginn is not that expensive his experience helps provide a good atmosphere on the team and continuity is important.
