I think Ginn will stay. I also think those of you downplaying his value to this team don't have a clue about how important vets are to our team and locker room.  He is our most senior wide receiver and a pro.  Look what losing Harper, Tillman and Norman did to the secondary last year.  This isn't Madden. Sometime vets play a critical role off and on the field.

TRue.  think Gman will offer him a take it or leave it 2yr de

Ted doesn't return punts anymore. He catches the ball and attempts to return to the sideline.  He can be replaced pretty easily imo

This. I was like, upgrade on returns? Have they seen Ginn return a punt in the last two seasons? I think we'd like an upgrade on returns too.

Ill be fine with it.  We'll get our 4th round pick back next year from comp that most of you guys cry on here about trading for the punter.

Ginn has played better than anyone but himself expected for us.  When he went to Arizona that one year he looked pedestrian.   He may look better for just because he's our only true pop the top off deep threat.  No one else is a Burner(minus Byrd who could step in).  Ginn also orginally brought in the first place to help out in the return game has dropped off tremendously.    Let him go get a nice paycheck from a team that will give him the money while he can, hes getting up there in age and his speed will drop soon or later.

We can still find some guys (outside DJax)

FA

Cordarrelle Patterson- former first rounder known for deep threat and great returner.  Hasnt panned out at WR but a elite return man (sounds real similar to Ginn when we originally brought him in) also a Rock Hill, SC native.

Marquise Goodwin- short slot guy with top athletic ability, US olympic team for long jump in 2012, ran a 4.27 at NFL combine

Pierre Garcon- not particularly a Ginn replacement but a Vet replacement a year late for Cotchery.

Draft (later round guys)

Switzer- small may not fit our system well but explosive

Zay Jones

KD Cannon (my favorite)

I'd like to keep Ginn as a deep threat WR and draft a new punt returner/slot WR.

Ryan Switzer please.

I'm all in on this. I like Byrd fine, but he's overhyped on this board and I think at the end of the day, there is reason why he never broke through to the 53 until the last week of the year after we were well out of playoff contention. I personally think we are going to like Keyaris Garrett over Byrd in camp this summer. Just a hunch.

Ginn as a WR was really important to our offensive success the past two seasons.I think retaining him is important. I'd love to draft Ryan Switzer to take over PR duties and replace a guy like Philly Brown.

Yep,not sure why so many people on here love guys like Philly and Byrd. Philly is a bottom of the roster type WR who isn't a great special teamer. That's the type of guy who usually has a tough time sticking to rosters. Byrd is a guy who can run fast, but we haven't at all seen that translate on the field. Sorry, of you can't crack the active roster as a WR on last year's roster, you're not an NFL caliber WR.

I'm sorry, but are we just going to ignore that Ginn outplayed Benjamin and all other WR's last season, and just came off a double digit td and near 1000 yard season just a year ago? Yeah, he sucks at punts, but he has made some clutch plays for us.

Is that praise for Ginn or an indictment on kb and funch? If Ginn is our most productive guy next year it is a huge problem.
