Broncos to go after Ted Ginn

The Denver Post suggests the Broncos could make a run at free agent Ted Ginn.

The Broncos want an upgrade on returns, and could also use Ginn as a deep threat to play alongside Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders. From a fantasy standpoint, staying in Carolina would still be Ginn's best option. Turning 32 in April, this may be Ginn's final shot at a lucrative contract. Ginn is coming off a 54-752-4 receiving season and remains one of the NFL's fastest players.

They'll probably offer more than us, but I don't think it'll be a good fit for Ginn and he'll probably be released from wherever he goes after a season. Won't know other QB be able to get Ginn the ball like Cam; especially Siemen. Best just to take the 2/2.5 milli from us.

I think Ginn will stay. I also think those of you downplaying his value to this team don't have a clue about how important vets are to our team and locker room.  He is our most senior wide receiver and a pro.  Look what losing Harper, Tillman and Norman did to the secondary last year.  This isn't Madden. Sometime vets play a critical role off and on the field.

Meh, they can have him. Ginn's greatest successes have come here with Cam.  If someone else wants to pay him, we can replace him. He has been awful on ST and is old.

Agree that Byrd could be his replacement, or someone like Curtis Samuel or Taywan Taylor in the draft or free agents like DJax, Cordarelle or even Kenny Stills (minus the ST help).

Hold on. Another one of those articles that speculate but don't have substance.

The article doesn't source that Ginn is going to the Broncos from the staff or anyone in the Broncos department. Rather, they speculate towards the fact Ginn would be a sensible addition if they were to go after a free agent for returns.

It doesn't hold substance that it will happen.
