Is Joe Mixon definitely off of our draft board?

Like I've stated at ad nauseam.  I'm not okay with him hitting her.  But, the other things she did like spitting on him, hitting him, pushing him, etc.  Whatever happened after that, that's on her.  Don't put your hands on another human being, if you don't want the consequences.  SIMPLE AS THAT.

I disagree with that.  Joe Mixon (the individual) is responsible for what they do.  Who had more to lose?

At the end of the day, Joe Mixon hit a girl he was way bigger and stronger than.  People can justify it as much as they want, but it doesn't change that he his a girl.  It's not about what she did, she's a nobody.  Joe Mixon is, as much as any college football player, trying to audition for his career.  He had a choice, call her some names, walk away, it's over.

Instead he made a choice.  I call BS on the reaction nonsense.  You always have a choice.  He made that choice, he's paid a price for it, but how do you know he won't make the same choice.  There are some guys who get dropped due to bad behavior who go on to become stellar citizens.  There are some who can't escape that bad behavior.  Which is he?

Well, reading over your response.  You don't like the law, simple as that.  I'm not gonna judge an 18 year old kid for this.  The media outrage, and this close-minded thinking is whatever.  But, you talk to a lawyer, you aren't going to like what you hear.  She assaulted him.  Is hitting her justified?  No.  But, she put herself in harms way.

And for the morons that state "What if it was your sister or mother?"  Well, you dumb shits.  My nonexistent sister wouldn't of instigated a grown ass man like that.  Neither would my mother.  Simple as that.

Once again, I reiterate.  You don't put your hands on another person, and expect them NOT to retaliate.  You're in a world of hurt.

Got to love victim blaming!

Remember Spider-Man: with great power comes great responsibility.

I worry for those of you who are OK with him hitting a girl.  I just don't get it.

Listen man. I was a victim of domestic violence committed by a woman and I never laid a hand on the woman. My mother was a victim of domestic violence and never touched my father. This isn't domestic violence which is a sick and damaging experience. If some stranger puts hands on me, they will receive a dirt nap. Joe Mixon didn't owe this woman poo, they were strangers. What if she pulled out a knife and stabbed him? She struck him twice, what was next? Maybe you have never been attacked by a female, it doesn't feel good.

I kind of get your moral compass when it comes to not hitting women. It's a good thing. But I see nothing wrong with hitting someone who is a stranger, male or female if they are attacking you.

I won't change your mind.  I can see that.  I'll nip off my snarky remarks, but you're going off the deep in.  Way to huddle.  I didn't see her doing that in the video.  You do have rights of self defense, but there are limits to that (for now).

It was a joke, obviously.  But, self defense is self defense.  If I was that big (Mixon), I wouldn't of hit her.  But, if she is slapping me, hitting me, and lastly spitting on me (I'm about the same size as Ace Boogie).  It's probably a different story.

He came back inside the place and got in her face. If it was so bad, he should have left or stayed outside. He wanted something to happen. She comes in and wipes her eyes almost seeming upset.

You do know she called for him to come inside, right?  I'm not trying to be rude.  But you're not making any F U C K I N G sense.  He came back inside, after being called inside by said female (who for some reason you think now was crying).  Which in my personal opinion, he was probably trying to f u c k.  Because this girl has priors for days, and from the looks of her photos, probably a little slutty.  Who knows what she wanted?  But, all I know is, words were exchanged.  That's verbal assault, but that's neither here nor there.  She spit on him, according to reports.  And the video CLEARLY shows her hitting him, and slapping him more than once.  So, that's technically assault on another human being.  Point being YET AGAIN.  DO NOT PUT YOUR HANDS ON ANOTHER HUMAN BEING (or spit on them) IF YOU DON'T WANT REPERCUSSIONS.  As simple as I can put it.

I guarantee this female won't spit on or hit another man again.

I hope he's not off our board. He should not have hit the girl, but you can't just put hands on someone because you are a woman. I would not be upset if we picked Mixon.

There's called appropriate reaction based upon the level of threat presented to you. If he would have defended himself by wrapping her up or pushing her away from him that probably would have accomplished the same message. Instead, he full on punches her in the face like a man. That reaction is entirely out of proportion to the level of threat he was under. This is like pulling a concealed carry weapon on someone because they said something mean to you. Entirely out of proportion to the threat. I don't care if he goes into the interview room and crocodile tears it up, if you'd do something like this you're a piece of poo and you'll stay one.

This dummy went from not only blaming the victim of the assault for her own broken face but proceeded to look at her photos, call her a slut and say she deserved it. You don't even know this person. The fug is wrong with you? Do you really believe the things you say? I can't believe how many people here are so angry at women that seeing them punched in the face gives them pleasure. You need a therapist.

This topic gets brought up form time to time, makes me sorta want to partake. The never crowd is always funny.

Give me a situation where you'd think it's okay to punch a 120 lb. unarmed woman in the face with your best one.

She has your kids and has threaten severely beaten them.

That's a police matter. If you punch the woman and go to jail, what happens to your kids? The reason the police exist is for situations like this one. Do what you have to do to restrain her until they arrive, but making yourself a criminal in response to a criminal would be a disservice to your children.
