Peppers could be coming back

I've been perfectly clear on my opinion of this rumor.

For the life of me I can't understand what a 37yo OLB could do for us?

Was he a great DE? Yes, but he's changed positions and hasnt had to carry the bulk of a 4-3 DE in several years.

Can he still play? I'm sure he can, but how motivated is he? Will he mysteriously capture the will and desire to perform every week?

Are you guys willing to trust him again when it counts, or would you just be all, "Fug yeah! Peppers and poo bruh!"

Anywho, if the FO brings him in, fine, but this doesn't mean I'm breaking out the old #90 jersey from the deep recesses of my heart....uh, I mean closet.

At 37 an upgrade over any DE on the roster. Put him back at 4-3 DE and that 7.5 sacks goes up. Still a physical freak.

He didn't want to spend the next few years with good Jake, bad Jake. I can see what he means being that Cam is an upgrade and gives his team more opportunities to win.

We don't have a star at DE. Nobody is scared of Kony Ealy. Open arms.

This is LITERALLY all he's shown in free agency.  So duh.

Of course when you got a cap like the Saints you have to work around, you're not getting big name agents.

No one's arguing his free agent acquisitions have not been helpful.

He's done. He doesn't have anything left.

He had 7.5 sacks. That doesn't suggest done with nothing left.

I'm not going to take media speculation for more than what it is though
