I think trading down the first to get John Ross is perfect. Get the fastest reciever coming out of college and pick up an extra second or third or whatnot (don't know what typical trade down in the first are worth honestly )

Depends on which first and trading down to where.

Here, this should help:

Both our big receivers will be fine. This third season for them will be their coming out party (provided Shula isn't a party pooper). Watch! You'll see!

Just like I've always said, in this offense, you can't expect a 1400 yard receiver, but two 700 yard receivers may be even more effective, especially when you throw in two effective tight ends and a legit, versatile receiver that can kill teams in the slot. It's all about perspective.

KB plays small? WTF, couldn't be more wrong.

He may take plays off, but he certainly knows how to use his frame when he tries.

Funch is more finesse, sure, but we won't truly know about him until we throw his way more often. Dude gets open.

10 hours ago, Cracka McNasty said:

He's 22 and will be 23 in May. He became able to drink legally the month before he was drafted. He was one of the youngest guys in the draft in 05 and apparently made strides in the offseason before last season. A combination of poor playcalling and poor QB did him no favors. Jeremy showed us earlier in the year that he was getting open, Cam just wasn't throwing it his way for whatever reason.

Either way, I want to see quicker route combos that will allow our big WRs to body out DBs and neutralize pass rush without having to go max protect.

The closer we get to the regular season the more pissed off I'm getting that we kept Shula. I don't trust him to actually change the offense in any way shape or form that might benefit the personnel we have at our disposal.

He might adjust with a new TE if the talk of him wanting another are true

Can't tell if you agree or disagree.

Only KB knows for sure, but I saw a dude that lacked fight down the stretch. His size and ability do not match what he did during the second half of the season...as a pass catcher and as a blocker.

Oh I agree for sure that's what I've been telling people I'm not saying KB is bad I'm saying he doesn't look like he puts effort sometimes and it's so frustrating because you know you can do great things on the field but that's only when he tries and there's no telling when he is in when he isn't so I won't hold my breath on him because there's no telling with him
