Patriots will ask for too much, Pats players usually flunk once they leave the system and Gronk will probably get injured, resulting in endless bashing of the move from the same people supporting it now.

No thanks.

This. Belichick tends to be pretty smart about when to let players go.

His being willing to part with Gronkowski would give me pause.

Two tight end sets every snap. Helps offensive line problems, and is reminiscent ignorant Can's rookie year. I don't pretend to know how good Gronkowski is in pass protection though.

Bacardi cola. Do it.

Gronk is very is very good at pass pro if I recall correctly.

I think if that opportunity arises you shold take the risk even if the cost is somewhat high and he has injury history . Having the top two tight ends on one offense is insane. Even if the play calling is still poo this gives cam stupid good options in any situation where they are both running routes and especially if KB is on the field WR #2 is just going to end up being open a lot of the time you can't leave any of those 3 uncovered .

Well you wouldn't bring Gronk to your team and proceed not to use him . But yeah I agree schemes do matter , whether he's utilized well or not is mostly on the OC unfortunately .
