KK wants 17 million a year?

People saying don't pay KK? What is your alternative? You think Addison is as good as he was this year w/out KK in the middle? He is the one that makes everything go on that line. Gettleman told us he wasn't paying Norman because he doesn't value corner, well he supposedly values D-line. This is the nature of the business, people play out their rook contracts and at some point you pay up or move on. This is a guy worth paying up for, at a position that this team values.

This is ridiculous. Luke may be the best player on our defense, but d lineman get paid more than LB's.

We are saying that the juice isn't worth the squeeze on this one.

KK is good, no doubt. But he is not a dominant force or irreplaceable.

You make someone the highest paid DT in the league... there had better not be games where they dissapear.

I dont think anyone is against tagging him. But paying him 17M a year just cus "DG needs to prove that he pays his players"

DG would be dumb to sign him to any deal that was more than the tag. Why pay 17M for what you can get for 13?

Cus next year we are either in the same boat or saying "man, glad we didn't marry that player"

I like KK, but we can't pay him that much regardless of how you want to look at the structure.

We need offense, you can pay Short a kings ransom, but it won't mean poo if our offensive line is getting manhandled again. We still don't know for sure how things are going to play out with Oher, and Remmers has got to be replaced. We also are looking at being stuck for another season with a potentially bad contract for our inconsistent kicker too.

They're wanting to do exactly what we did last year, and we saw how that ended up biting us in the bottom as Ealy was a disappointment. Also, it's a big gamble thinking Butler is going to take it to the next level, but that's essentially what some want to do.

I agree with you. We need to pay KK. He's been a top 5 DT two years in a row. He's not only shown he's worthy of top 5 DT pay, but he's shown he's dependable.

Horrible way to look at it, luke was the highest paid lb for a position that doesn't get the flashy money.  For instance KK is better than Jamie Collins and Jamie Collins after this off-season will be the HIGHEST paid lb in the league

This why I never fell for the bullshit excuses  from the beginning. The man is cheap and arrogant till proven otherwise and its rubbing off on the rest of the fanbase. Might as well trade cam and Luke a blow it all up cuz were not winning poo anytime soon. Good luck trying to completely draft a superbowl winning team under rookie contracts. I don't know why people think this team is some sort of damn dynasty that can win under any circumstances, they are lost.

Why in the FUG should he pay that? What the hell has KK done? Has he even come close to CONSISTENTLY eclipsing Ndomokong Suh type numbers year in and year out? NO!!!!!
