Last years NFC championship was a pure defensive ass whooping for the most part. This is just all offense exposing a way in over their heads defense. Even so, the Packers should know better either way, christ, the Chargers played Atlanta harder than this.

I swear to God dude.  If Atlanta gets their first Super Bowl because Gettlemen was a fug up last offseason.  I'm gonna go nuts.

Actually, no, that is not up to Gettleman.

Any GM in the league allows his Head Coach to manage his own coaching staff.

If Shula is here and remains here, no matter how much you want to that is NOT Gettleman's responsibility.

Its Rivera's.

      Respectfully, I completely disagree. Last year we were:  32nd in Sacks. 32nd in Turnovers.  32nd in Rushing TDs allowed  29th in Scoring.  We were absolutely atrocious on defense last year and that was with a full stable of weapons in Derek Brown, Frankie Luvu and Brian Burns that played all 17 games.  Using yards per game as a metric to guage our success lacks the context that because our offense was so inept teams were not driving the length of the field, they were starting at their 40-50 yard line.  This year, our Defense ranks:  31st in Sacks. Tied for 19th in Turnovers  31st in Rushing TDs allowed 32nd in Scoring  His defense fails to get pressure, fails to turn the ball over and fails to stop the run. Three things you absolutely have to do to be successful in the NFL.  Denver meanwhile has not missed a beat without him.  If another team wants to hire him as a HC and the Panthers get two 3rds for it I'll wish him the best and pack his bags myself.
