Atlanta is set for a few years. We might as well realize our window has closed. Part of the reason that window is closed is our coach has no balls. As much as I hate to say it Atlanta is going to win a super bowl in 2 weeks

Many folks thought the same thing about us last year. Every year is different, as evidenced by neither SB team from last year making the playoffs, and 4 new NFC playoff teams.

I'd agree, but they have a head coach and we have Ron Ron.

Oh... OK.

(But I still think the majority of our problems is directly attributable to coaching and scheme.  But, yes, last offseason from a general management perspective was a disaster.  And that's including the fact that I 100% *agree* with what DG did with Norman.)

Even with every coaching gaffe, the offensive line troubles, Cam's inaccuracies, we still could have been competing for a wildcard spot if our near top paid kicker wasn't shanking like Ray Finkle. Rivera didn't give him that contract.

I don't disagree.

But the only problem I have is with the contract, not so sure there was an available kicker out there to be picked off the Kicking Tree that would have been any better (unfortunately).

Ron can learn from his mistakes. I'm excited about our new D coordinator and the chance to get a few studs in FA and the draft. You know they are going to get Cam some help. Have to. You know, kind of like what ATL did last offseason.

Can he? Because he's been making the same ones since he's gotten here.

Lol. Pats and Steelers both have tough defenses 10 times as good as the Packers and offenses that could score at will against the Falcons' D.

We said that about the Panthers vs the Broncos too.  I've already conceded the Falcons will win the Super Bowl.  Thanks again Gettlemen.  You complete waste of fuging space.

Re-signing him was the right move, but now we're looking at the serious likelihood of having to roll the dice with him again because we got a little overzealous with the contract, and apparently blinked first. Which is ironic considering how adamant we were about making an example out of Norman.

I can only hope Gettleman learned from the 2016 offseason. Rivera has to stop coaching like a scared pussy too.

I didn't get all this talk of a guaranteed Atlanta victory in the Super Bowl. They got their asses beat a few times. And don't tell me about them being hot. Every fuging one of the final four came in hot. Their defense is not lights out!

There are no guarantees of course.

But, last year, we seemed to be slowing down at the end of the season.

The Falcon's, however, have seemed to me to have picked up speed and momentum as the season has come along.

I'm an AFC fan 2 weeks from now no matter what.
