Historically the better defense beats the better offense. Don't the pats have the number D in points?

Gman could provide Rivera and Shula with HoF'ers at every position and Rivera and Shula would still manage to make their offense and defense boring and predictable.

Predictable is never a formula for success in the NFL.

Neither is standing pat in scheme and coaching.  But we just need to run the ball more, sayeth Ron!

true, but they also play in a horrible division and had a relatively easy schedule
