no man i totally get what he's saying like if only the best player in each of these drafts somehow fell to us we would've won these last three superbowls

and i can't help but to feel that it's somehow gettleman's fault that they didn't

"If history unfolded in a complete different way in only during the desired years we would be a better team and so I will use that to criticize the team."

Thatso a good one

I don't get the purpose of calling out Kiper. 99% of mocks are wrong.

True as long as you understand its all for entertainment. There is no way for him or anyone to take in to account the thoughts and strategy and opinions  of one team much less all of them. Once a prediction or 2 is off its going to diverge quickly

Allen, Fournette and Barnett are all there at 8... what do you do?

I know what I do...

Nevermind... the wife had the perfect answer...

Me: if Barnett, Allen, Fournette and Foster are all there at 8, what do you do?

Wife: Gather all 7 dragon balls.

No team uses Mel Kiper as a source of information. He has no influence on the draft or who teams draft. Let's be serious here. He writes stuff that people click on and read and argue about. That's it.

Teams actually do(as well as some other high profile mockers) because he has developed sources at this point and can tip teams off to who a team ahead of them might be selecting.

for example, McShay actually knew the Dolphins wanted Juwaun James really bad and when doing a mock draft with Kiper on TV started singing rocky top because he wasn't allowed to make the pick in any of his mocks

Mel does not think the kid from Clemson is a top pick.....

The guy is a moron.

I think GMs purposely  feed him inaccurate info to get a kick out of his foolishness.

Watson is clutch, but I don't really trust his entire body of work. That isn't a a hot take opinion. There are legit questions about him.

Since Kiper is never correct and can in this scenario be tipping anything to anyone a team would be foolish to pay any attention to him.
