I wanted us to get Bennett last offseason.  Julius could be a good addition but he's never healthy.

He got paid and showed up out of shape, then was never able to stay healthy. If he's motivated I would take him here, he would be a nice compliment to Olsen and it would allow him to rebuild his career a little bit.

Julius Thomas can't block for poo. Why would we want an over glorified WR in a TE position? Olsen is still here and getting a TE isn't as urgent as other positions.

Shouldn't be too expensive. Fits Shula's request for a second TE that can stretch the field. The guy caught 12 touchdowns in back to back seasons before going to football purgatory in Jacksonville. He should look at what Cam has done with Olsen and beg us to sign him.

 

oh yeah and in before the Patriots sign him as the next Martellus Bennett
