I agree, this movie shouldn't be remade. Look at all the remakes of great shows that have been remade and have sucked so much ass. Just no. 

 

I'd rather see an original movie from him than this.

You know, Shawshank Redemption hasn't been remade yet. I think they really left a lot to be desired the first time. Nothing a Keanu Reeves/Chris Tucker duo can't fix!!!!

No no that wouldn't work. Knowing the PC crowd today they would remake it with a female cast.

Yep.

Even if you managed to find actors that have even half the acting chops Woody, Wesley, and Rosie did for their respective roles, you cannot capture an era at the time like that. It's timeless.
