Panthers bring on another undrafted WR

The Panthers have signed wide receiver Mose Frazier to a future contract.

The 5-11, 190-pound Frazier, undrafted out of Memphis last year, spent time on Denver, Buffalo and San Francisco practice squads last season. As a senior in 2015, Frazier was the favorite target for Memphis quarterback Paxton Lynch – the Broncos' first-round draft choice in 2016. Frazier caught 70 passes for 797 yards as a senior and 135 balls for 1,599 yards over three seasons for the Tigers.

Frazier's in Carolina's 16th future signing. He and the others will officially be a part of the 90-man roster when the new league year begins March 9

Despite a six-catch, 79-yard performance in the preseason finale against Arizona, Frazier has been cut Mike Klis of 9NEWS reports.

Frazier looked solid in extended action against Arizona, including a stretched out catch near the sideline. Frazier was one of Paxton Lynch's favorite targets while they were both playing at Memphis and Frazier could be a candidate for the practice squad so that he can try to develop in a similar way as former undrafted free agents Bennie Fowler and Jordan Taylor.
