Coaching philosophy concern

More than the defense I was talking about the offense...I see on the field what the DC is trying to do and a lot of times it's the S who fuged up especially in the past. Also before our new DTs it didn't matter what was called our DTs were being pushed back 10 yards on run plays.

But yea we need more hail merry passes on 3rd and 2.

I do believe it's possible he'll run more Cover 2 than zone blitz though.

We ran cover 2, cover 3 and cover 4 about equally. It might depend on who we get at safety and how ready they are to start assuming we go with draft picks and not seasoned vets. Scheme preference is almost always trumped by talent of the players involved.

That depends on the personality of the coach though.

There are some coaches who are gonna run it their way come hell or high water regardless of who's out on the field.

Not saying thats Wilks, mind you.

Then they better get their personnel to run it or they won't be there long. We wouldn't change from a 4-3 but I could actually see us play more cover 2 this year with man on the outsides and zone underneath or even some  man underneath given how well our linebackers cover receivers.
