I wasn't butt hurt at all, YOU started talking smack to me. Not the other way around, even your fellow fans can acknowledge that I was making a valid point.

Actually, your comment and his had very little to do with each other. He is saying that the two superbowl teams are struggling almost as much as we are. Sure it doesn't matter irt what happens this year, but he is basically saying that we aren't the only ones struggling.

To expand a little:

Super Bowl Champions: Steelers (1-2)

Super Bowl Runner Up: Cardinals (1-2)

Championship Opponents:

- Ravens (3-0)

- Eagles (2-1)

Divisional Opponents:

- Chargers (2-1)

- Giants (3-0)

- Titans (0-3)

- Panthers (0-2)

(apparently it was better to play the Sunday game last year)

Wild Cards:

- Vikings (3-0)

- Dolphins (0-3)

- Colts (3-0)

- Falcons (2-1)

Three of last year's twelve playoff teams have yet to win a game, while two more - the Super Bowl teams -have only a single win to their credit.

Interesting :sosp:

Not especially meaningful, but interesting

Add to this, I think the last 6-9 SB Champs were in the playoffs the PRIOR year.

So double history at play. Starting 0-3 coupled with last years playoff appearance.

Lol I love the delusional fans on this site. SaintJ wasn't trolling, he just stated this thread is filled with absolutely irrelevant stats from previous years, god forbid someone state facts.

Go forbid someone ever come on the Huddle with some semblance of positivity and optimism. I feel like a heretic around here every time I don't post "We're doomed!", "Fire John Fox!", or "Release Jake and trade Steve Smith!".

And SaintJ's fact? "Last year is last year." ?

Hardly cutting edge news journalism.
