Seattle's Michael Bennett Tells off media.

Bennett continued his expletive-laden tirade before adding, "Try me again, see what happens."

Didn't see anything about this here yet so thought I'd post it. All I have to say is wow. If people went off on Cam for simply walking out on the Superbowl press conference, I can only imagine what they would say about this. All of this was simply because they dared to imply that Seattle's pass rush struggled to get to Matt Ryan. I get the feeling that since it was a Seattle player it will be simply, "Oh he was just in the heat of the moment after losing and big playoff game.",  you know, the reason they wouldn't let Cam have. I'm interested to see what everyone here thinks on the situation.

My opinion is I wouldn't want a player from my team to behave that way. Cam or Cj or whoever. I really don't care since it's not my team.

Agreed, that is why I prefer what Cam did. Instead of causing getting pissed off and lashing out at the media he just got up and left. That I can understand since he left in order to not say something I'm sure he would regret later. What Bennett did was the type of thing that gets played back over and over again like the many other outbursts throughout NFL history. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he receives a nice little letter from headquarters requesting money for his conduct and for being highly unprofessional.

Meh, I do not care.  The whole idea of making athletes answer questions moments after an emotional loss is stupid.  It is like when people get upset when certain language is caught on mic during live action.  What do people think is going to happen.

Ordinary people lose their cool over less in situations where emotions are much lower all the time.  The way Cam handled it was definitely better but as long as he did not punch somebody then who cares.

Not only is it poor form to make athletes interview so soon after a loss, I read elsewhere that Matt Ryan was just 10 feet away, talking about how he was able to carve up their defense.  So the media did the same thing to Bennett as they did to Cam.  That's just rude.

On the DL, it's really what the NFL wants. They have to know that emotions are going to get a little bit extra at times, and it makes for compelling viewership.

This is certainly not how you handle questions and yes, Id much rather you just walk out than to react like this. But I do understand. Not excusing it, but I get it. I've blown up in a meeting before over miscommunication. It is what it is, they lost and emotions were high. Could he have handled it better? Sure.

I'm positive the media won't make this an offseason long ordeal though. I'm 10000% sure. They STILL bring that SB walkout of Cam's and it's been almost a year.

The incident occurred in the locker room. Parts of it are are heard in an interview with Sherman. Home and away locker rooms would not be 10ft away or possible to do such a thing for obvious reasons.

Meanwhile last night T. Brady gets a little roughed up - with a legal hit - and damn near chews the ear off the official.  That's Brady being 'competitive' as opposed to 'spoiled little bitch'.

I would love to see Cam "T" off on the refs just one time - exactly like I saw Brady do last night - but I'm pretty sure it would turn ugly in the media before the game even finished.  Meanwhile, last night the announcers never brought it up again and it's not being played on ESPN either.

It makes me not want to read anything on sports media because it's so fuging biased and they have so many agendas bennet is not the type of person to sugarcoat anything he's going to tell you how he feels he'll tell you that and his brother is the exact same way but for them to do that again just shows me they just want a story

Cam nor this organization are going to be upfront and angry about the situation because They know the refs have the upper hand on just about every situation they will never be reprimanded they have way too much power and they need to be called out if you do something wrong at your job you need to be called out.
