When I look at Jabril Peppers, I seriously see a Jeremy Cash who can return kicks.  I don't know how he continues to be mocked so high.  And I don't know how Cash went undrafted either.  Basically, I don't seem to know a lot.

I read a pre-draft article that had Cash among the top few defensive players in college football.  To go from there to not drafted?  Don't feel bad.

TD was not a superstar his first year--it took a while to covert to LB and SS at UGA was closer to LB than SS at Duke. I think Cash is a baller, and will become a starter when Davis retires.

So what happens with Cash next year? He continues to be a special teamer? I can't really see any way to get him on the field right now.

He's going to continue to play special teams, but look for him to get more looks at LB.  On some dark day, TD will retire and it's likely that Shaq Thompson will take his spot.  At that time, you can just see Cash starting on the other side.

He came to Carolina knowing that we had Keuchly, Davis, and Thompson.  He also knew he would have to gain 20-25 pounds to compete at this level.  The dude's smart, and he's playing the long game.
