If by freelancing you mean covering who you want to cover instead of being where you ought to be in the scheme, I doubt it. This defense up to now requires discipline and accountability on every play. On the other hand if freelancing means watching the quarterbacks eyes and running to someone else's man to make a play or pick the ball and leaving your primary responsibility, then he very well might especially if there was safety help over the top.

I will be interested to see if Wilks continues the tendency to have the DBs stay on the same side of the field rather than follow specific receivers around the field particularly in man coverage. And will you ever see us line up our number 1 corner in the slot when Atlanta lines Julio Jones there in order to exploit the mismatches.
