Might not lose Al Holcomb

Say panthers do lose al and need a replacement. Do you think during interview luke comes in halfway through and puts his arm around the interviewers' shoulders and gives the approval?? Or is that more of a opening or closing type of test, it's the most important aspect of being the LB coach tho.

I can't stop wondering what Al Holcomb is going to feel about Ron recommending someone else for the job he was applying for? That could be pretty damn awkward.

I don't think you apply. I think you get asked to interview. The media said that Holcomb was a likely candidate for DC but maybe he never was.

Plus he would have interviewed with his own boss, McD, so Ron's recommendation isn't really needed.

Very true and that alone explains it best. McD doesn't need a reference for Holcomb. He does for a guy he doesn't know as well. I doubt it was phrased to Rivera as who does he recommended most but what does he think of Frazier. Rivera can have utmost respect for both but it's McD who needs to decide.
