John Kasay article in Sports Illustrated

What have since been mostly forgotten outside of Charlotte are John Fox’s early two-point conversion attempts. Rather than take an extra point when the Panthers scored to cut New England’s lead to 21–16 with more than 12 minutes left, Fox opted to go for two. The attempt failed. When the Panthers scored six minutes later to take a 22–21 lead, they again went for two and could not convert. That left the Panthers leading by only one instead of three.

“I think I learned at that time not to chase two-point plays too early,” Fox told the Charlotte Observer in 2014. “Like everything, you live and learn.”

This should have been more talked about more than the Kasay kick. An NFL head coach should know when to go for 2 points.  Foxy's game management sucked then and it always sucked.

since we're schoolin' kids on NFL history with trading cards, let us never let them forget that Atlanta drafted Brett Favre...

lol @ Atlanta...

I'm gonna refrain from laughing at them until they lose (hopefully in a couple of days).

I hate people who poo on Kasay for the kick out of bounds.... go through that 2003 season and look how many Game winning/forcing OT FG's he kicked for us...

Yeah but I think what everybody can agree on is regular season don't mean poo if you can't do it when the big show is happening regular-season gets you there winning the games after the regular season gets you a ring. But with this team I'm starting to see a pattern of them just being bad at the worst times it's really quite aggravating but you learn to live with it
