Observer position/team analysis. First up: RB

I haven't been keeping up with the Charlotte Observer much these days, but I noticed that they have a new writer covering the Panthers. Enter Jourdan Rodrigue. The Observer apparently plans to do their own analysis of the Panthers, since Getty said a few days ago that he was going to take a fortnight and do the same.

In order not to sound too jaded, being a hardcore fan, Rodrigue's article may offer something to the casual Panthers fan about the state of our stable of RBs, and that's mainly why I'm linking it.

For those who don't want to click, I will say this: Rodrigue basically says that we will look to get our future back in the  draft.

"With a running back class this strong, general manager Dave Gettleman will have lots of chances, and it’s clear the Panthers need a spark on offense. He is more likely to look for an answer in the draft over exploring free agency, and while the Panthers may not use their first pick on a back, it’s a deep class, and plenty of talent will fall to the second and third round."

Sure she brought up Latavius Murray (a name that has made its rounds here) and Jacquizz Rodgers, but, like her, I believe that Gettleman's going to take the cheaper, more efficient route, and get us Stew's eventual replacement in this "deep" class of talented backs. No way in hell that LéVeon Bell is coming to play for us, so Rodrigue could have left that out.

Rodrigue sounds like she believes that Stewart and Fozzy stay, Tolbert goes, and CAP is a tossup.

She obviously thinks Leonard Fournette will be gone, but gives a thumbs-up to Dalvin Cook. Rodrigue also mentions Christian McCaffrey as  a possible target, especially if we're thinking outside the box. Gettleman and Rivera do love versatility and high IQ football players...but D'onta Foreman may be just the man for the power run game which we also covet.

I hate when girls do that .... there is lighter colors of mascara and brown eyeliner it looks like your emo when you do that and you're blonde it just looks very odd everything else is blonde and then your eyelashes are black... make up has evolved where you don't have to do that anymore [emoji17]

Jourdan has had a few article linked lately. And yet, folks still think she is a guy? Hellz, it took a while for @KB_fan to get HER dues as well. Sports, there not just for guys anymore.

Now, before I get steam-rolled. @Cookie Lyon, was pretty obvious right from the start, and @truthjuice let it be known really quick that she was very much a woman.

And to @dardarroarroar- Raaaawwwrrrr, put those claws back girl.  lol

When I first signed up, some people thought I was a guy. LOL.

What guy would pick "Cookie Lyon" as their username?

I think the Jets and Jaguars are the only teams that pick before us that might consider a RB. The Jets need a QB but with Bowles on the hot seat they might go with Fournette that can make an impact early than growing pains with a rookie QB.  While, Chris Ivory and Yeldon have not preformed well.

I'm glad we've got some more women on here. I mean, @ladypanther is as classy a Huddler that there is, but there's nothing wrong with a little class and sass to keep the jugheads in line.

I am pretty sure for some of the lugs on here could care less if there is a lady present. I really want to be wrong about that too. Chivalry may not be dead, but it is on life support.
