Next Gen Stats - Cam is the most aggressive QB in the NFL

Separation for KB is highly overated. Maybe for a little guy like philly it matters but KB not much. It doesn't matter if the defender is close or not. As long as Cam throws it to him KB is going to catch it or at least make sure it isnt intercepted. If Cam cannot put it on target even to a stationary target, we have much bigger problems than receiver.

To put it concisely

we observed that Cam wasn't the most accurate QB to ever play the game

So we attained large WRs in the hopes of compensating for that with their catch radius, not realizing that the natural consequence of that was asking the QB to throw in even smaller windows, thus magnifying the initial "problem."

that is remarkably, remarkably busch league.

No....it's gettlemagic

Do whatever it takes to get Deshuan Jackson and give Byrd a hell of a lot more playing time. Start KB and Jackson with Ginn , Byrd, and Philly coming off the bench. Trade , cut , or convert funchess to TE. He is taking up valuable roster space and he does nothing better than KB.

Our receiving corp was better last year with Philly and Ginn getting more snaps and being on the field at the same time. Funchess was a big target as was Olsen but Ginn and Philly got separation.

If Gettlemen has balls he'll shop Benjamin or Funchess for a 1-2nd round pick and improve the lines with what he gets.

He could easily get a first round pick for KB. Maybe a 1 and a 2.  I'd do it tomorrow and lock down the DL and OL. We don't need both big receivers. We have seen that in Shulas sheme all it does is force Cam to throw into tight windows.

Ginn yes but Philly no. Philly was ranked one of our least efficient receiver last year according to PFF.

Guys like Philly and Ginn have no bend and can't get out of breaks fast. Ginn is capable of running a slant and a go, THATS IT. Philly is open when Philly sits in open spots in the zone. Philly is choppy as hell and isn't going to be winning many 1 on 1's in man.

For the billionth time there is a difference between fast and quick. We don't just need speed guys we need guys capable of running the entire route tree or even close to the entire route tree.

Damiere Byrd is smooth as hell. I'm guessing all he was used of running at SC was the go and he's taking these first 2 years to get the route tree down. Byrd has the athletic ability to run any route it's just a matter of perfecting it.

I hated Cotchery as much as the next man but not having a slot receiver that Cam could turn to when blitz is what really killed this offense. It should concern you that Gettleman was unable to recognize the need for a slot receiver coming into this season. I have begged for Boldin for the past 2-3 years, this sh*t really isn't that difficult. Boldin had 67 rec / 584 yds / 8 td's this year AND was signed for peanuts.  He'd once again be an awesome get if he doesn't hang them up.

Boldin, Woods or Jackson would be nice

Why would you hate Cotchery let alone feel the need to brag about hating your own player? This community thinks disliking it's teams players is something to strive for....makes no sense.

Nobody takes anyone who says things like "billionth time" seriously.

Hate is strong, but after that SB performance I wanted him cut immediately

He got rigged out of a catch, which in turn led to a 3rd and long, which pass rushers love, which Denver had plenty of

He had 3 brutal drops that game. I agree it was a catch, but he should never let it come to the refs. Should of secured from the get go

Once again you add nothing to the conversation. Shocking.
