Coordinators often interview for years and years and years. I like McD but I think he is a long shot HC hire currently.

for his sake, SD would at least be better than Buffalo.

Yea he would most likely strip our team of talent.

My money would be on Eric Washington being his DC. I think Wilks and Ron go pretty far back and Ron would likely give Wilks the keys to our defense. 

Washington is a very underrated coach though. Would suck to lose him. He has done some great things with Mario, Star and KK

Wilks could very well get a HC job too. Problem with not being consistent is teams can gut you of talent. Same reason NE keeps coaches. No time to interview.

Honestly at this point he deserves a shot somewhere. I would look forward to Wilks getting the promotion. He deserves it.
