We Are Not Going To Draft A Running Back In The First Round

Love hearing from all the fortune tellers who just know what Gettleman is going to do. What is he, your Dad? Or are you actually Gettleman? Who the hell knows what he's going to do. All I know is that we need to improve our offense. Their are no OT's Worth drafting at 8. Very few offensive players Worth drafting at 8. The early part of the draft is defensive heavy. I am just going to support and welcome whatever players we take and be happy that we have a chance to significantly improve our team on the offensive or defensive sides of the ball with the highest pick since we took Cam in 2011 #1.

Gettleman would never say that. Like a smart GM, he keeps his mind open, assesses the situation, then makes up his mind from there, realizing that things can change  literally anytime before he is on the clock.

That's the bottom line, and that's what makes the OP bull crap.

I would love Fournette at RB, a game breaking RB would be nice

I have never understood the hype here on J Stew, I have always seen him as an avg. back at best, the past 5 years anyways. He hasn't been the same back since 2011

Stew is a bruiser. But def not elite. And he's fragile. He's fun to watch when he runs so violently, but that style leads to injuries, which saps your speed and quickness. Behind our line, that's gonna lead to a very low YPC.

Those stats are eye-poppingly average.

I'm down for Leonard.
