If we were gonna trade him, our window was week 6 of last year (that still the deadline?).

Hell, I advocated a norman trade the year before he got tagged... when he was the best CB in the universe... and got flamed by Frank on WFNZ.

DG is a savy negotiator... but with contracts. He hasn't shown any propensity to get value fdom guys like KK or Norman.

You think another GM is going to give up a 1st or 2nd when Gettleman showed just last year that he has no problem pulling the tag from a guy who isn't signing it right away? You really aren't very smart. 30 GMs would laugh their asses off on the phone while Gettleman tried to negotiate a trade and just sit back and wait for him to fold again. The other would grumble incoherently and sit back and wait for him to fold again.

Oh yea the Norman situation worked out so damn well for us
