I don't think they do a tag and trade either.  I think Dave will come at him with a serious reasonable offer and KK will say I need more.  Dave will say thank you for your service and good luck.

That's the nature of FA now.  The best you will get is a 3rd comp pick.  I would love to trade his ass for a butt load of picks but that rarely happens because you have to find some desperate enough to take him as much as you are desperate enough to get rid of him.  Plus the player has to be on board with it.  It's easy to say but extremely hard to do.

Again, all parties were in mutual agreement in those situations and neither had reached the end of their current contract if I remember correctly.  If KK is willing to cooperate and can find a team willing to pay him and give up picks hell yeah tag and trade.

A deal will happen if Gman wants to make it happen. It's not that difficult. KK just want the big check. He's doesn't care who the hell he will be playing for. Gman find the team, KK signs his name.

All he has to do is be the anti-Norman. In other words, Gets puts the non-exclusive tag on him allowing him to visit other teams, he needs to visit other teams.

Thing that makes tag n trade so rare is that the player would have to agree to the destination and, essentially, a contract with that team. Not exactly like NBA no-trade clause' bjt pretty close. Teams just dont have interest in renting a 1 year guy for that kinda money

It is a madden move to think a tag n trade is an "easy" move.

I dont remember the last time it was pulled off but I think it was some obscure player on the bears back in 2009... or some such thing.

The Browns have the need, money, and appropriate consideration. Who wouldn't want to play for Hue?
