Getty's presser just started

He lost me at the chicken little references.  Come on Dave.  Don't patronize me with this nursery rhyme bullshit.  The team was 17-2 last year.   The team is 6-10 this year.  What in the blue hell happened to the success we had last year.  Don't go though this presser trying to minimize just how much the pooch was screwed this year from the top on down.  This two week evaluation period, is that including the coaching staff?  Does it include yourself?  So in two weeks if you discover that you're the main culprit for this 6-10 season are you going to white-box yourself?

I think we are gonna find out the answers real soon.  Not expecting any staff changes unless someone leaves for another job voluntarily.

He stated the draft is deep at a few areas of interest. Meaning he is going DT or LB.........More than likely will ignore the offense issues (already ignored how bad of an OC Shula is).

If he drafts one of those positions in the first 3 rounds I will have a coronary

Also,  Why in the hell is it impossible to talk about the Josh Norman issue?  That was a BIG event from this previous offseason.  It was a simple question that was asked.  "How did the josh norman departure effect the 2016 carolina panthers"

Dave: "fug off I'm not talking about Josh"

Why can't that question be answered in a professional manner?

You could of easily said "We lacked veteran presence in the secondary at the beginning of the year"  or SOMETHING along those lines.    You dont have to be a fuging putz you jackass

He answered it the same way he answered every other question - with a non-answer.  He has nothing to gain by giving info out to the public.  I don't even know why he does these pressers.

....this makes me feel at ease. He's using wording he's never used before.

That means that he has seriously put a lot of thought into what went wrong, and how he will do things a little differently than in the past.

I'm glad to see that he's taking most of the accountability. Even though I have been preaching this for weeks, I've also said that I have faith in him to right the ship, and that there are smart moves that can be made that won't break the bank, but will get us back on track.

Not tooting my own horn, but it's almost like I have my hand on the pulse of the franchise. ;)

The most frustrating part of this season is the amount of times that play calling killed us. 1st and goal, interception. Happened multiple times. In easy FG range, sacks and an INT. That happened so many times I can't recall all of them. Pick 6s. Dear lord, happened so many times and some like KC and Oakland are completely avoidable. You are up 17-6 (should have been 20-6) in the 4th, don't let the other team get cheap points. Don't do a fancy screen where the QB fakes it one way so he has 0 vision of where the D is behind him. Ugh.

Hey hey.    Shula  says that's gonna work one of these days.

Maybe

Out of ALL the terrible play calls Shula has in that dumb book of his that stupid spin-o-rama screen pass may be the worst!
