KK's agent makes a call??

when you have the DB and DE combo we trotted out there this season you prevent a guy like KK from being able to produce like he can. Yet people fault KK.  It is the Cam logic applied.  The world around them for success is trash yet people blame them

lot of moving parts in football studs have to be in a position to legitimately dominate

Horse hockey.  The Saints game, the importance of it and the projectile vomit inducing performance from our D, in particular the still shots from this site of KK, exposed him.

He is a DT.  He is also the only legit player on our DL people have to worry about....so yeah, teams can scheme him out certain weeks.  That isn't a KK issue.

Peyton Manning couldn't throw but he is a good enough football mind to make sure someone else has to beat him

Alex Mack was signed for big money to counter KK.  KK wants ridiculous money? Beat the guy your biggest rival signed to beat you.  KK failed.  No ridiculous money here for KK.

Dude, KK couldn't win one on one match ups to save his ass this past season.  That's what he's paid to do and he couldn't do it.   So now we're suppose to pay him top dollar because everyone else sucked?  That's not logic that's delusional.

Well when we challenged WRs off the line in 2015....he certainly did win his matchups then.

Pass coverage and the ability to win your matchups in the trenches are related....and our pass D was garbage.  The quick short throw was there all season when a QB wanted it.

unrealstic expectations of KK and what defines him as great.  Kris Jenkins had over 6 sacks once....and reached 7.  KK had more sacks than Jenkins did this year in every season but 1 and people are acting like it was a train wreck

One season of slightly above average play due to help from the secondary and without that help he can't produce.  I'm not seeing where that warrants top dollar.

whoever you think is better I can find games where they were exposed too.

No DT in franchise history has had his sucess rushing he passer and it isn't close

You are correct, obviously it doesn't.  Fortunately GMan didn't cave last offseason so surely he won't now.  If for some insane reason he does, the flickering spark from a once passionate love affair of GMan would be GONE.

That you think 11 sacks from a DT is slightly above average is comical. Double digit sacks is very good for a DE, for a DT it's amazing. There isn't a single DT who had double digit sacks this year. Donald only had 8.

Not about who is or isn't better.  It's about finding a team of 45 or 53 guys, the combination of which is intertwined with a hard salary cap, which is superior to the other 31 teams.  KK can happily return if he and/or agent get head out of ass very quickly.  Paying what they supposedly want would be a very foolish investment of resources given ALL we've seen.

I'd call his bluff. I would not tag him (just like I wouldn't have tagged Hardy). Unlike the Norman situation, we have veteran experience at the position, and a youngster in the name of Big Vern to mitigate his loss.

We're gonna see how much of a true hardass G-man really is.

G-man got a ear full from JR , his ego want come in the way as you can tell by Ron's conference

Kris Jenkins was the most disruptive DT in franchise history before KK arrived...

if you cherry pick Jenkins' 4 Pro Bowl seasons.....he wasn't as productive as KK in his 4 in the NFL.

But KK suddenly is sorry because he had only 6 sacks as a DT.  Donald had 8 this year on a much better DL and wasn't asked to go be a DE because the Rams had nothing

What's the difference. Short has done absolutely nothing for a whole year. Slap the tag on him and let him sit.

I think that ties up the money though.  We need to either sign KK before free agency or let him walk and use the money to improve the roster.  Hopefully Gman learned from last year not to be held hostage during FA.
