KK's agent makes a call??

Short, per a league source with knowledge of the situation, won’t be quickly signing the franchise tag, if the team applies it. Short may not sign the tag at all, which means that absent a long-term deal before July 15, Short may not play in 2017.

Looks like someone saw what KK said and had to get on the phone and make a correction.

No player quickly signs a tag in today's NFL.  So is Dave going to cut him too and pull the tag when his agent won't bite on Dave's first hard offer?

Before we pick sides, what is a fair offer?

I better see everyone who ripped into Josh last season say the same things about KK now

If not worse.  Josh truly was to blame for an AWFUL way of showing it but deep down actually wanted to stay home.  PLUS, was truly a top 20 overall player in football last year.  KK wasn't even remotely close.

Don't tag him at all.  Use the money on Berry and/or a trade for Staley if Oher doesn't return.

So let's keep drafting guys that are super studs and letting them walk...

that doesn't seem like a great formula

Agents are scum and it is no wonder DG can't stand them

But he needs to swallow his pride and do the right thing and get us some players

Agents aren't scum, they just do the their job. Any agent that is known to let his players take team friendly deals isn't an agent for long.

Being an agent is about results and getting your athletes the most money possible. If you have a track record of that youll be a successful agent for a long time

Boy what a dumpster fire this whole thing turned into over the course of one year. It was only 365 days ago we were the one seed, dominant, vegas favored pick to win the title.  We just ran through our schedule and would wreck Arizona to win the nfccg

Now we have the 8th pick in the draft, a former MVP who is not on good terms with his career choice, an MLB with concussion issues, an all pro home grown CB discarded, and a DT (who last year was second only to Aaron Donald) maybe looking at the same fate.  All the while, our one pass rusher played out of his mind and will likely get overpaid in FA by someone else. Our other pro bowl linebacker has thrown around the "R" word and we have enormous question marks at both offensive tackle positions with a coordinator (still employed) who can't adjust his game plan to take the stress off those turnstiles.

Formula smormula, everything is "liquid", and "fluid" as GMan himself once said.  Probably not a good idea for the vast majority of super studs drafted but every situation is different for different reasons.  And we just spent a 1st last year on BPA. Vernon Butler.

Wasn't aware KK was a super stud as you put it.  He certainly is not worth top money and just like Josh he can GTFO if that's what he's after.
