Panthers picking 8th overall in 2017 Draft, but remember this important disclaimer

The off season is upon UA and the time for all of you to offer up terrible opinions is rjpe. Some of you have started early, I see.

 

One common opinion you'll see mentioned this offseason is the following:

 

 

Approximately 3500 aspiring NFL stars will be draft eligible this offaeason, and the Carolina Panthers, coming off of like, the worst season, like ever, will.be selecting 8th.

 

 

Unfortunately however that is simply not high enough. Is there a player you like?

 

That's too bad. Because he is going to be gone before we pick. In fact, he is going to be long gone. They all are. 

All 3500 players will be long gone by the time the Panthers make the 8th overall selection, roughly an hour into draft night. 

 

Who knows by what mathematical tomfoolery this happens, but it simply is. Its an indisputable reality that all the players will be gone and we should probably still trade down anyways just to be safe.
