I tell you what. If Gman brings in a solid Vet SS, and a solid Vet DE in FA. I'll let you waste a 1st round pick on a RB.

 

And no. Garret is not the only DE worth our #8 pick. I mean, look at it this way. One way or another, we are going to get one of the best players in the draft. That alone should make us happy. All this speculation may be fun. But I am not going to lose sight of what that pick represents talent wise.

Saban's players are  fundamentally sound, and have one of the best work ethics.

Ryan Kalil is the missing cog right now to prevent those blitz. Oh, and Cam's shoulder getting healthy.

LT is a position of need.  Oher is not consistent enough, there.
