Why would I be pissed if Rivera would've benched Cam? He's injured and should've been benched with Luke.

It shows no control. What was Cam gonna do? Throw a tantrum, sit on the end of the bench pouting? He would've been fine. Treat him like you would a toddler and ignore him. Just imagine if you will, Cam did come out.  The roasting he would take would go like this:

-Cam quits on team

-Cam needs to show more toughness if he wants to win

-Cam should be ashamed for his lack of will/leadership/want-to

-Cam is done/flash in the pan

-Cam the cry baby

 

etc. etc etc, the kid is damned if he does, damned if he don't.  I can't express how confusing it is to see him treated like this.  What did he ever do to anyone?  I'm embarrassed for the way fans and outsiders alike bash this young man for nothing more than loving the game.

He's getting that while staying in, playing and trying to make things happen. Cam should've sat anyway in this game. I hate the treatment too but I chalk it to him being an either or person. You like him or you don't. 6 years in the league and people fail to realize there's no gray area with him and you can't box him in. Like I said, I don't think he should've played at all and if at any point Rivera wanted him out, he had the authority to do it.
