Offense struggling, let's draft more defense

John Ross was a big disappointment last night against Alabama he was not able to beat press coverage or get much separation against what most experts would say is considered the best secondary in college football.

Yes lets draft a OT at the top out of this class, the weakest class the past decade (even moreso than the mighty 2013 class of #1 Eric Fisher and Luke Joeckel #2)

Lets reach when we have problems all over the field.  Lets forget that were playing with a 4th string center, a LT who was playing on a probowl level on IR and numerous other injuries on the OL.  And how quickly we forget this Same line led the team to the #1 offense in the NFL and one of the tops in awhile for the league last year.  And this same D minus Norman, Harper, and Peanut helped blow numerous 30 point leads in 2nds halfs last year only the offense bailing them out.

 

So lets go out and reach for a need at OT and when he sucks and the offense looks the same and the defense Still looks the same.  We'll be sitting around like we were last couple of years of the Hurney era.

That's cool.  And Watson has thrown 19 picks this season.  Guess what?  He's still a first round pick.

Our offense struggled when it was fully healthy. So you point is mute.

 

Thiers no such thing as a reach with this offense. It can be a second rate LT and we still be a tremendous update over what he have now.

Sigh. No, I just know what will happen. We will draft a defensive player because they are by FAR the better prospects for a top 10 pick. Will will sign lower contact guys to fill out our Oline and we will take a safety or a DE with our first round pick because it will make the absolute most sense.

Then posters like you with zero NFL experience will throw an all out sh*tstorm claiming that DG has no idea what he is doing, he hates Cam Newton and hopes his son dies, Shula was born in the depths of hell and sent to the Panthers to derail our offense, Ron Rivera is a bigger problem than AIDS in Africa and you should be the fugging GM cause you would make things right.

All the while forgetting that just 1 year ago we went to the super bowl with the highest scoring offense in the NFL and the best regular season record of 15-1.

Why do people keep using last season as a barometer for our offense. Our defense was also good last season, our defense has regularly out performed our offense year in and year out. 

This last month is perfect example. Our defense is giving up less than 17 points a game. Our offense can barely stay on the field. Drafting defense is beating your against a steel wall
