RB is not even an issue. I don't know why people are making it out to be so. If Fournette is there than yes you take him, but as a luxury pick.

Unless we land a 1 or 2 solid DEs in free agency a safety isn't going to help much. Our 2 best DEs and our best DT are all free agents.

Safety much more so in FA.  We also need MULTIPLE DEs.

Jamal Adams is better than any free agent safeties. Not saying he'll be there at 8 so you don't know what Gman will do. But if he feels like Adams could be there I think he fixes other positions in FA first. 

Thats why I feel like the Draft should come before Free Agency. Maybe the owners will make it happen in the future, a team or teams don't get screwed like Houston (Brock Osweiler).

Exactly....if we don't resign Addison we better not think about taking a safety at that point.

I have a hard time imaging we'll use the 8th overall pick on a safety... I think we draft Fournette at 8 (if he's still there) and take a safety in the later rounds and/or sign another vet stop-gap now that the Boston experiment is over.

Adams is a once a decade strong safety. Absolutely worth the 8th pick.

I just don't see Adams being there, but if he is and the Panthers select him I'm ordering a jersey asap

We'd be lucky as hell if Adams is there at 8. My favorite player in this draft! I just don't see him getting there. It's going to take 3 QBs, Fournette, a WR or someone else to going in the top 7 for him to have any chance to fall. Hopefully Malik Hooker can put on a show at the combine.

Not saying he isn't worthy from a talent perspective, just not sure we value that position enough to use the 8th overall pick on it. 

On the other hand, the Hurney regime was reportedly going to use the 9th overall pick in 2012 on Mark Barron before the Bucs snatched him up and many of those same scouts are still in our scouting dept so I guess you never know? (I'm not comparing Barron to Adams BTW).
