Not surprised, like it's already been said before Rivera is wasting Cam Newton. And it sucks because cam can be an even better player than he already is. Rivera is just writing his own ticket out of here.

This is why Rivera needs to be fired. We need to run this team more like an organization concerned with winning more so than running it by "keeping the family together". We've lived through this same bullshit with the Fox era. It's time to stop letting our love affairs get in the way of business.

Yes Shula can improve the play calling, but let's not forget that DG left him with same roster and did nothing to improve the offense after getting exposed by the Broncos. If your OL & FB can't block while your oversized WR can't create separation your doomed to fail

Why would you want to keep a staff that hasn't had back to back winning season. To keep a OC just because we hit 15-1 once and lost the SB is doing the same thing over and over expecting lightening to hit again. You have to evolve and the same people calling the plays will never do that. 

3 years in row with playoff apperance and incremental increase even with Roster full of holes, the real issue is the  front office.

Actually, unless he's fired, it is.

Gettleman can override him, but as far as we know he's been unwilling to do so.

I'm hoping that changes, but I'm not counting on it.
