When have we ever had a "great" TE #2 during Shula's time as a OC? He has been our OC since 2013 and the TE roster goes as this...

During Shula's best year he never had a "true" weapon at TE #2, so this fable of the offense would have been different, he was going to change but the evil DG never got him what he wanted, would have never given us the results we wanted at offense.

Brockel and Hartstock where adequate blockers but this is more about Rivera's comment about Cams maturation and health with the plan of going to more of a pro style running game.

I think DG will resign KK and Star with the cap we have. In FA I think DG will focus on a WR, if I had to guess it would be Adam Thielen from the Vikings. Big play ability after the catch. The Vikings may not place a priority on him with Diggs and Johnson coming up as FA's. If he is priced out of our range Marquess Wilson is another WR that could help us in the big play area outside of the inconsistent hands of Ginn. We need more speed and big play ability on our offense. For the right price either of these guys could help. Or even look at RB where Rex Burkhead or Andre Ellington would be a boost in the backfield. Moving on from Tolbert and Fozzy would free up carries and cap space to add one of them to our roster.

You should never need to rely on a TE to pass protect. We need better Tackles and I say that because Shula has Norwell pulling.
