How are we going to upgrade the O line?  Without that any RB is a waste of a pick IMO.

By getting healthy.

If you haven't noticed, our healthy O-line last year helped to create one of the most diverse and scary run game in the league. Kalil, Trai Turner, and Andrew Norwell were considered the most stout in the league.

If you're talking about tackle, then we'd be fine as well. Daryl Williams is playing lights out - shutting down the league sack leader (Vic) in 2 games this year. He's only allowed 1 or 2 sacks from what I remember this year.

Michael Oher is also servicable when he's healthy. Depth is the only concern, otherwise we have a stout unit when healthy.

I think the choice should not be made until we determine what to do with Stew. If stew is back, we should use the pick on someone that will help immediately next year. If we decide to let Stew go which would be a shocker after this year, then we should go RB. This pick has to be a 100% day 1 starter next year now that we are picking in the first half of the first round. No more grooming - I believe the last 2 picks, although they may help in the future, were a big part in our regression this year. Everyone else got better while we were trying to develop players still.

Ah yeah why would a run first team need a half back with first round talent espically when their best HB is constantly injury prone and our offense goes to poo when he gets hurt.

It's a fuging mystery.

Our offense goes to poo because our o line is trash. Demarco went to philly and what happened? A "first round talent" rb is a wasted pick these days unless you have a top notch offensive line. I've already pointed out that CAP actually averages more yards per carry than Stewart.
