27th in run yds....

shouldnt we kinda expect that with all the injuries??

not too disappointing... once our offense gets in a groove.. we should be okay.. we can still win possibly 10ish.. the question remains if you can get into the playoffs with 10 wins..

Back in Indy, Meeks' defense was night and day depending on whether or not Bob Sanders was injured.

Meeks' version of Bob Sanders in Carolina is Chris Harris. He's been out both weeks, and will be again this week.

To think that Chris Harris not playing and Quinton Teal playing in his place has no impact on the defense is just plain silly.

yes the D is THAT bad. Last year when healthy....it was that bad. This year missing a DT and a S that is horrific in coverage....it is still THAT bad. Kemo and Harris being out are not the reason for the poor D play.

I think the change in scheme is taking more time to adjust to than anyone thought, and key players being banged up and/or out entirely doesn't help.

What I want to see is improvement over the season. If that happens, then I'll be on-board.

We are so high in pass defense because people get early leads and run all games against our undersized defensive front. Yes as of right now, our defense is probably somewhere in the middle for both.
