You've Seen the Best of Cam...

So, where exactly did I lay any blame on Cam?

Please explain, but keep searching ..

We've seen the best of him in a year where not only is he himself battling injuries, but many of our players, and our staff have regressed as a whole?

It's a knee jerk thread. Just like the one you made where you said you were done. Drink some whiskey or something, and think a little more before you post.

It's funny because I think you should have blamed him some. His mechanics, staring down recievers, footwork, holding on to the ball to long...poo he's done for 6 years.

But you have a valid point with the OP, it's just how funny people come out with their agenda when you said nothing blaming Cam...lol.

Bingo.

Cam is playing like poo and we are losing, but never mind that.

Some people are so insecure. The best thing about the Panthers getting a new QB will be all the time unbearable fanboys that stop rooting for the Panthers and lose interest when Cam leaves...you know, the real fans.

Are you saying Panthers need a new QB? Its what that sounds like

I know bro and some people question the validity of your race when you go against their agenda. I have faith in Cam but until we get a coach, a leader, someone who can challenge him mentally - seasons like last year are going to be very hard to replicate.

Pretty sure Cam has a fairly serious shoulder injury that will get operated on after the season. Possibly a small labrum tear or rotator cuff tear. I was a pitcher for a long time, all the way through college, and I had a torn labrum. I could pitch with it, but goddamn did it hurt sometimes.

I ended up having to have surgery on it, and I never pitched again...But I think QBing is very different than pitching. Cam will be back and better than ever hopefully.

Cam is clearly playing injured but some of the mistakes he's made this year are the same mistakes he's made for 6 seasons. I really do have faith in him. He's the most talented athlete ive ever seen at the QB position but he isn't perfect or without flaws. I agree he will be better than ever next year but he isn't above criticism which I really the basis of my whole argument.

    • Too late to edit above but the quote is from this Diane Russini article in the Athletic: https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/5941684/2024/11/23/russinis-what-im-hearing-the-day-the-jets-fell-apart-and-the-broncos-rallied-belichick-best-fits/ Okay.. there you have sorry I left that out the first post.  Also waivers keep the contract intact. That is the major difference in released and waived. It's all in that link from the other post.
    • Okay so I am reading something in The Athletic and it says that Jones had to pass through waivers. So I don't know. I looked this stuff up when we were number one there all offseason and I thought it said 4 years in the league got you vested, as they call it.  Vested gets you out of waivers as I understood it. I probably got something wrong, but when I think about the slack quality of journalism these days I wonder about that. So I went and looked, again. Well, well.  For everyone: "When a player has accrued at least four seasons in the NFL, they are considered a vested veteran. When these vested veterans get cut, they are released and their contract is terminated. When a vested veteran is released, they are an unrestricted free agent that can sign with any NFL team, and the team that released them doesn’t need to provide any additional compensation." It runs it all down here, where the quotes came from: https://www.profootballnetwork.com/waived-vs-released-nfl/ As far as Jones, the team turned down his 5th year option so I knew that meant he had 4 years in, because they re-signed him anyway, after turning down the much cheaper extra year.  The Athletic is owned by the New York Times so I shouldn't be surprised. That paper was an institution once upon a time but they let their standards go.
