Some of you motherfugers could learn a thing from Coleman

You fuging dirty-mouthed motherfugers who always talk poo in your normal course of conversation, so much so that you don't even realize it---you filthy fugs---consider our mentally strong safety as Christmas is upon us.

Quote

The seventh-year player out of Ohio State made the conscious decision about four years ago to give up foul language.

“A couple of things helped,’’ Coleman said of that choice. “One, deepening my relationship in my faith. Also, my uncle was a reverend and some other people told me I don’t need to use that in my vocabulary.

“So I made myself aware of it. I realized a lot of times I was cussing and didn’t realize I was cussing. I was cussing just to cuss. Then it got to that point I said, 'I’ve got an issue.'"

One of Coleman’s inspirations to stop cursing was former Philadelphia and Denver safety Brian Dawkins. Coleman didn’t play with Dawkins during his four seasons (2010-13) with the Eagles, but he grew up admiring him.

“I know for a fact [NFL Films] would never really mike-up B-Dawk because he was always giving praise to God," Coleman said. “I always thought that was something special because of the player that he was, but also the person he was off the field."

I wouldn't put it past those ol' dirty bastards (Sorry, is that a cuss word?) to never ever want to mic a player up who can actually communicate without a potty mouth, especially in today's world where increasingly anything goes.

Seriously, people, I kind of enjoy this little known fact about Kurt Coleman, especially during this time of year. It is an example that we can all easily aspire to if we choose to do so. Perhaps a New Years resolution is in order. Consider it!

Merry Christmas!

I love Kurt. Man is a ballhawker. Fug RR, McD and Tre Boston for FUGGIN his season up. He should be leading the NFL in INTs this season as a FS. Jamal Adams will make that happen next season.

I do miss those safeties back in the days. Dawkins, Troy, Bob Sanders, Sean Taylor, John Lynch and even dumbass Rodney Harrison that I grew up watching. Damn young safeties these days wanna be finesse and earn the top dollars as a cornerback like Jalen Ramsey. Guys are soft today. Kam Chancellor and TJ ward are the only two closest things to safeties back in the days.

My Grandpa used to tell us "A cuss word is a strong expression for a weak mind.." I don't remember him ever cussing... Growing up, Mom & Dad cussed just didn't drop f-bombs. The 1st time I heard my Mom use the word 'fug' was after I got caught stealing, wasn't a question how deep the poo I was in was....

i tell my kids "they're not bad words, they're adult words", and try to instill my Grandpa's lesson....

Good for him, but I'll cuss whenever I damn well please.

Words aren't inherently bad. Any word can have a negative connotation to it, there's just a set list that people have determined are "Bad" for arbitrary reasons. Why is Fuck crass? It's one of the most versatile words in the English language covering Nouns, Verbs, adverbs, etc.

Shit is just another term for poo, but it's "bad" because... reasons...
