Panthers will pick 8th

Those of you clamoring for Cam Robinson need to look at his character history. No way Richardson would allow that guy in Carolina.

Some guys are going to shoot up the boards after the combine and I fully expect the Panthers pick to be one of the following: Mike McGlinchey, Ryan Ramczyck, Jamal Adams, Malik Hooker, Derek Barnett, Leonard Fournette (I expect he will go top 5 though), or Dalvin Cook.

If I had to put money on it right now I would say Dalvin Cook. He has elite speed and quickness. He would be a nice complement to Stewart for 1 year before taking over as the lead back. He reminds me of a Chris Johnson/Jamaal Charles hybrid.

I've kind of soured on Cook a bit at the #8 spot. Maybe his combine/pro day may tilt me back, but his vision is scary bad. I like his explosiveness and receiving ability which we sorely need, but without a solid OL, I wonder what he can do.  I do see the Charles comp.

I just think that if we miss out on Fournette or value Adams/Barnett/Hooker/etc. higher on our board than Fournette, there's better value later at RB than Cook is at #8.

Give me Foreman, Perrine, Conner or Dayes after the first round is more valuable. Now, if we drop down in a trade down scenario, then I could warm up to Cook.  He has homerun abilities on any touch, but the more I watch on him, the more nervous I get in Carolina as a fit.
