Yep, apparently rookies don't make mistakes...

Mistakes are one thing, utterly lost is completely different. He's made huge improvements. In the first half of the season, he simply didn't look like he belonged. It wasn't "mistakes". There were no flashes of talent. It was just pure "oh my god, what in the actual fug is this guy doing out there?!"

Exactly what happens with rookies that start. Like Butler they do best when they can play behind a veteran instead of being thrown into the fire and getting toasted when they first start. Corner won't be an issue next year. D line and O line definitely need to be addressed. Safety too.

I am not sure there is a whole lot of difference between starting or not for these 3. (Butler, Bradberry, and Worley.) Because they play a heavy rotation, and are getting plenty of snaps. So I don't think starting means that much. As long as you get lots of reps, does it really matter that you didn't get the first one?

As for both lines. I foresee an off-season of heated discussion for these positions. Who needs to go, who needs to be brought in? Who to extend, who should start, who should be depth? Do we draft a LT? Or go the FA route? How much should be pay for JPP?

Man, after this year. This off-season is going to be much exciting. In both Panther moves, and the Huddle reactions to those moves.

Of course he'll be good.  If he improves his run support he can be really good.

Josh is still a very very good player as well.

CBS are paid to cover not tackle and Josh is a avg CB at best. Our scheme is super CB friendly and just think if we ever find a consistent pass rush.

I am not in favor of starting rookies if you can avoid it. They do better playing in a rotation. It seemed most of our rookies got hurt at some point. They don't come into the league with their man bodies developed like most veterans who have been through off season workouts. They are not used to the west and year of an NFL season. They need reps but need to work into the rotation, not be the rotation.

I don't get the stuff about his run support. He has made some mistakes, some in his first week, but I've seen him make quite a few good run stops. He plays pretty physical and doesn't shy away from making tackles. Still lots to improve on because he is a rookie, period.

Well I clearly didn't try to imply he sucks, I just said improve.

When I read cpks posts all I hear is the teacher from Charlie Brown in my head..

By the way you completely contradicted yourself by saying that bradberrys play doesn't count because it's not on the books but Norman get a credit for qbs not passing to his side of the field. Last I checked, that doesn't go on the books either.

Of course, he's a rookie, but look at the run defense ranking of the top 23 CBs in front of him. 7 of the 23 have worse rankings than Bradberry and another 4 just a handful of points better. I have seen enough, CPK's ramblings aside, to know he's going to get better in run support and has made some solid plays against the run.

I pretty much agree with you so I don't know what you're still on about honestly.  He'll be very good if he improves that...all i said.

I don't understand the need to compare, neither will be each other, guess it's human nature to compare and contrast.

Rooks are starting to shape up now the big test will be consistency, and a big test this sat vs Matt Ryan and company

I am not into comparing players either. Unless it is like, this kid reminds me of so and so. Too many things go into comparisons. It just ain't worth it. But man, you really have to be looking for the bad side of things if you cannot see the growth of our 3 Rookies. This season of frustration is eased just a little with how those 3 have responded. I feel like a proud uncle.

And man, am I excited for this game? Yupperz. First real test of our new and improved Defense. CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If our Offense can stay on this roll, and the Defense comes to play? With us at home? This could be one whale of a game. Plus, I heard a rumor that Daryl may be back.

PFF is subjective poo.

It's amazing how contradicting this statement is with your post history. Also, if you actually believe the poo you spew, you should be able to voice your arguments in like 5-6 sentences. Anything more than that and nobody is going to read it. Some of your posts remind me of the code from The Matrix.

Again, he was ranked high in the SPARQ ratings along with Bradberry and Neal. He's always had potential. Any fugging rookie can look lost or get beat.

Have they released SPARQ ratings for the incoming draft class or is that only near combine time?
