our best stats was year before superbowl when delrio ran defense and mark fields and spoon were running the d on the field.i think we only won 6 or 7 games,but we were like a raw peter,you could not beat us

I remember reading somewhere, that everytime john fox left a team, the defense improved by leaps and bounds.

Giants in 2002 309.2 yds/G (9th) 17.4 pts./G (3rd). We were 2nd and 5th respectively in the same year under Del Rio.

but in 2003 the giants fell to 22nd in yds/G and 29th in pts/G. Who ever took over for Fox didn't do a very good job.

well was marginal. to be fair, after he left, both the raider and giants defenses tanked the following year. of course well all know the Giants eventually rebounded. the Raiders, well we can all see the Raiders.
