Anybody see the Brees roughing the passer call?

NFL Live crew were talking about the Cam no-call, said the officials are in-consistent in making the calls because it has to be forcible contact, so it's them deciding how much force the guy gets hit with...

They also provided at least 6-7 other plays from this weekend where qb's got hit, should have been a flag but one wasn't thrown, so it's not just Cam. I think Cam gets more publicity because it happens to him more often.

But every call is reviewed every week and they lose money by not going to playoff games. And if you thought I could type that with a straight face you're very wrong.

I mean the officiating does just suck.  Both of those catches that Washington threw the challenge flag on last night were pretty easy calls on the field, especially the 2nd one and they just flat got it wrong.

They do miss calls, even on QBs, but hell, they sure don't miss many on Brady, Brees, Rodgers and the other white knights of the NFL.

Three D tackles could hold Cam down and bite his dick off and Walt Coleman or Clete Blakeman would walk over, look down and say... "hmmm, nothing to see here... delay of game, Offense #1"

Well, that's the whole thing right there, isn't it?

You know it wouldn't be a delay of game. It would be unsportsmanlike conduct, taunting--offense number 1: rolling over to get defenders off.

Yeah,

I saw that poo live on Redzone and thought, wow, Arizona is going to get a shot at a game tying drive since it was 3rd and 8 and the sack took them out of FG range.  Then they threw the flag.  The announcers couldn't understand it either.  They both agreed it was a bad penalty.  Here's a bit more in depth and video of one angle of it

Four plays later, the Saints scored another touchdown, increasing their lead to 48-34. The Cardinals added one more touchdown of their own but would get no closer.

“Very tough,” Cardinals coach Bruce Arians said of the call. “Game-changing.”

Replays of the sack show that the Cardinals may have gotten a raw deal, because while Brees was taken down, it did not appear as though Moore or any other Arizona player did anything illegal. Rules analyst Mike Pereira and in-game analyst Ronde Barber both believed the call was a poor one.

Bad calls happen, and no doubt the Cardinals have benefited from some. But in this game, at that moment? Very tough, indeed.

Arians said the explanation he got from the officials was that somebody hit Brees in the head, though it appeared on replay that the offending blow many not have actually been delivered by a Cardinal.

Regardless, the flag was thrown, the touchdown was scored and the Cardinals lost.

Cam isn't the only one that they blow calls on....he is the only one they CONSISTENTLY blow them on. Which is why the defense used of they missed one on player X too is irrelevant IMO

At this point they won't have any officials for the playoffs because every crew they have is fuging terrible. But they can't actually do that so none of these useless, old, blind bastards won't see any real punishment whatsoever.
