It was a pretty fairly called game. Dont see how you don't throw a flag on the shot to the head but that's my only real complaint

Intentional grounding on a busted route and an unsportsmanlike on KK for pushing a guy out of bounds come to mind instantly.  This was one of the historically bad officiating performances of all time.

Historically bad of all time ever?

I'll say, especially with the way you saw Wilbon blowing up on twitter, the game and outcome will be a moot point compared to how much people are going to be talking about the officiating.  I think the fact that Cousins got that call in the 4th while cam couldn't get a call while sliding is the exact illustration people have been waiting for to show exactly how bias the refs have been.  There is absolutely no excuse anymore and no place to hide with this game.  Mark it, it will be all over ESPN tomorrow and it'll be talked about for atleast an entire news cycle, so because of that, I'd say it's just one of the historically worst NFL officiating performances.  Ever, I dunno, there's been some clunkers, but it's definitely gonna be one of the biggest news makers.

Not even close to the worst officiated Panther game ever.  I'd say game 1 this year was even worse.  But it was really really bad.  Numerous blatant holding penalties uncalled, and I'm not talking about the routine "that happens every play" kind...I mean the "wrapped around around the defender from behind holding on for dear life and leg sweeping the defender" kind.  The blatant double standard for QBs.  The PI to Olsen that was picked up even though the pass was easily catchable.  And yes, a number of bad calls in our favor as well, but none nearly as egregious as those I mentioned above.  The latter two were just too ridiculous not to be intentional.

They continue to not protect a QUARTERBACK who was sliding because his name was Cam Newton. Had they awarded that penalty just like in both Denver games the Panthers would have likely scored. It's the NFL protecting it's brand using no calls to create an environment that makes sure that Cam Newton can't take over a game.

They think having Cam Newton playing QB isn't fair somehow. It's disgusting to the audience to continue to watch Cam Newton as Cool Hand Luke. He won't give up but they'll bend the rules to break him and we can clearly see that FACT.

There have been worse officiated games in Panthers history. Every Cowboys game come to mind not to speak of Denver. What makes it so bad is that every call they got wrong was just so d@mn blatant & obvious to everyone that watched the game. Even Walt Coleman was nodding in agreement with Rivera while being yelled at over the helmet-to-helmet hit on Cam. There's nowhere to hide for that crew. It's already on every website except, of course, nfl.com.

    • For the silly people that worship her it will be that.  The Coleman 'legend' thing, they did that with another fairly average player that was here and I sort of mocked or questioned the 'legend' status. Instantly caught crap for insulting someone's favorite Panther. So okay, Kurt Coleman is a Legend.
    • You allow him to compete--you all are talking as if I am proposing making him the starter. Give him a new coach, new weapons, good OL, etc. and see what happens. You are saying, "Well Damn.  It did not work for 3 guys..."  Right now, our C is injured, we lost our top 2 WRs.  Better question:  If you need a QB, Why would you not take a chance on bringing in a QB who was a former first rounder, a good arm, intelligence, mobility, youth, etc.  and see how he does out of NY--with a better OL, better running game, better receivers.  I am not saying give him a 10-year contract, I am saying give him a chance. You act like there is no improvement on offense here--it was a 2 year process, and next year is year 2.  To me, how can you sit there with Bryce and an opportunity to sign a veteran QB on the cheap comes available and you say--"Not us. We're good.  We are waiting for Patrick Mahommes."  Jone's problem is obviously mental--and he has little support.  Why is this so frigging hard to comprehend.  It is called "bottom fishing" and it is better than sitting in the boat.
    • I think we're going to fall from behind quite early and be forced to abandon the run game.  3 rushes -2 yards 1 catch -10 yards
