The rich get richer; Pats claim Michael Floyd.

Its funny a player like this gets cut and we all know as  panther fans that we would never pick up whoever it may be. Then you see the Patriots or someone else that is always a contender taking chances. The organization's business model needs a revamp. Theres a reason we dont have back to back winning seasons.

1000 people spouting the same shitty opinion doesn't make it a good opinion just an fyi ôヮô

i think it bears repeating fifty thousand more times that the pats are where they are as an organization because they take shots at low risk/high reward guys like floyd and the panthers don't.  back to back winning seasons

aye guys i just joined the forum two days ago but i really want to say something about this and that is the pats take chances on EVERYBODY and we don't and if we only just did that which we don't (let's just ignore our history of bringing in personnel which contradicts what i'm saying and say WE DON'T) then we would be good like the pats because of this reason and for absolutely nothing else fire gettleman because he doesn't claim former first round picks off waivers when they get cut for dui

The last player the Panthers took a flyer on was Greg Hardy in the draft and we all know how that ended. I believe the fallout from that will keep the Panthers from drafting or signing players with character issues for some time. If Hardy had worked out we might have made a move like this. However, the Cardinals were expecting for Floyd to take over for Fitz one day, and cut him even though they would have gotten a comp pick if they just waited until the end of the season. His production had been declining and this was the Cards last straw essentially. His only real chance at success is with Belichek, because he will either produce or be cut and his career will basically be over.

nobody wants to read that poo dude

what the people really want is my master's thesis on the negotiating tactics and personality of the general manager of a pro football team whom i've never met
